Dear Passengers:

Recently, it has come to Air China's attention that some sales agents or intermediary organizations have taken advantage of Air China's promotional activities via its global booking hotline and/or website to advertise fare information without obtaining any authorization from Air China (through Air China's global booking hotline and website to purchase discounted tickets which are later sold at higher prices to customers). They use various methods including price packaging to make illegal profits, evading taxation liabilities, and other services.

The above-mentioned acts of illegal sales have exceeded the normal scope of business permitted to agents or intermediaries. Such illegal activities are in violation of the State's industrial and commercial administrative laws and regulations and the Civil Aviation Administration of China's Provisions for the Administration of Civil Air Transport Sales Agencies and other relevant laws and regulations. Simultaneously, this may generate disruptions to the sales market and cause confusion to the customers. Additionally, this will pose serious problems to the after-sales support system, which include customers being unable to obtain flight information.  Customers may be deceived when they try to change or cancel the ticket or customers may be issued false flight details that cannot be verified. This has generated many customer complaints, which have tarnished the airline's reputation and greatly impacted the after-sales support system.

For this purpose, Air China solemnly declares the following:

First, Air China will not support such illegal sales, and will reserve the right to take legal action against sales agents, relevant organizations and individuals who have violated the law to pursue personal gain.

Second, to protect the rights of the passengers and enhance the security during the booking of flights, passengers are requested to dial Air China's booking hotline or visit the website directly to purchase tickets.
